Beverley is a Melbourne broadcaster and journalist with twenty years experience. As a journalist at the ABC, she specialised in economics and politics and was a presenter on 774 ABC Radio in Melbourne for five years. The move to television included host of ABC Weekend Sport. (1996-2004) Channel Seven Sport (2005-2006). Melbourne Weekender Channel Seven 2005 She is currently a presenter on the ABC’s International Service Australia Network, with a reach of fourteen million internationally. Other radio work included a stint on commercial radio as breakfast presenter for Vega 915 (2005-2007) Until recently O’Connor was the deputy chair of the Melbourne Football Club, and a director for nine years. She holds life governorship of the Australian DrugFoundation. Board director for six years (1999-2005) She is an Australia Day Ambassador and an ambassador for variety children’s charity and Ozchild. |
