Ian has held a number of senior management positions, in both Federal and State Government as well as in the private and the not for profit sectors.  He has also lectured in Project Management and Marketing at TAFE.

Ian was appointed as part of the first senior management team of the Transport Accident Commission to design and implement a whole of organisation approach to fighting fraud, including how to change the public attitude and perception.  Following an assignment at VicRoads to redesign and restructure the Investigations and Prosecutions functions, Ian performed the same role at the Accident Compensation Commission (Workcare) as he did at the TAC.  Both these roles were undertaken in a politically volatile era and were extremely successful.

Within the private sector Ian worked in the head office of a major insurer,  advising on how to change their relationship with their suppliers and how to reduce their exposure to fraud.

He also headed the Australian Davos Connection, (Australian arm of the World Economic Forum) which is a leadership organisation for the heads of business, government, politics and academia, promoting debate on global issues facing Australia .

Ian’s life passion and current work is as a medium and spiritual teacher, which he has been involved in for about 25 years.
